Volume 96: Hanging with Hammond River Collective!

Welcome back, Strange Crew!

This week we’re excited to bring you our chat with Aaron, Jay and David of Hammond River Collective, a Canadian band serving up that classic rock ‘n’ roll sound we love!

In a chill hangout at Cait’s place, the band tells us about their upcoming show at the Imperial Theatre in Saint John with our friends (and former guests) Jamie Comeau and the Crooked Teeth. They also talk about their experience taking part in the theatre’s incubator program, and what it was like for the band during the last year.

We also chat about musical influences, and how the band came first came together. They also dive into some of their memorable concert experiences…which include fighting with ushers during Black Sabbath and getting unfairly kicked out of a Blue Oyster Cult show.

Desert Island Discs, Strange Grooves memories, custom denim jackets and so much more on this episode of Strange Grooves! We hope you enjoy the ride.
