Volume 95: Cruising with Bob in the Beetle!

In this week’s episode, Strange Grooves is on the move! Bob Keays takes us out for a ride in his antique Beetle named Jude!

We cruise around Saint John talking music, including Bob’s earliest music experiences, how he got into record collecting (he brought a big pile in the back seat for show & tell!) and how he once wrote a love letter to a crush using lyrics from Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours. We love it.

Bob also spontaneously calls his cousin, Philip Dunnigan, who’s Celine Dion’s principal violin player ( SO COOL) who has also played with the likes of Led Zeppelin and many other incredible acts. We chat briefly with him about his career, favourite performances, and what he looks forward to most when the Covid-19 pandemic is over.
