Volume 82: Inflicting Some Quality Block Party

Welcome back, Strange Crew! It’s been a while? How are you doing.

After a little break to regroup and getting ready for the fall, we’re thrilled to be back with a brand new episode with some great folks, garlic fingers and a damn good time.

With Summer coming to an end and Covid-19 cramping many of our plans, you know what we could all use right now? Some freaking great live music at a stellar venue!

Coming up on September 26th at Imperial Theatre in Saint John, our pals at Quality Block Party will host two shows in one night! Hell yeah buddies!

In the episode, we hang out with Gavin Downes from Little You Little Me and QBP’s Abigail Smith (she’s on this show so much, she might as well be our other co-host!) to chat about the last few months, what this show means, being back in rehearsals and how future shows like the one coming up can help artists and bands continue to perform.

We know that a lot of friends, family, folks we know have been drastically affected by Covid-19, both personally and in a business sense and we are looking forward to a night of music and making a nice memory for 2020. Lord knows many of us need one.

Big thank you to Peter Rowan for always going the extra mile and making life for us music lovers, creators and pals so much better.

So, details about the show:

You can buy tickets for one show, or both but we encourage you to stay the evening as Little You Little Me, MotherHood, Wolf Castle and Sadie will be performing. Double show tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for students. Single show tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students. All taxes and fees are included in these prices. Call the Imperial now to book your tickets!

On September 26th, Toss on your best outfit or your joggers and a top hat and come on out. The organizers have gone above and beyond to ensure social distancing is enforced and that time spent in the lobby or getting refreshments, that masks are mandatory.

This is a really special show and we would love for it to be fully packed and see all your faces. Let us know how you are doing too and if you enjoyed this episode and who you want on the show in the future and until next time, Keep It Strange!
