Volume 80: At the drive-in with some Crooked Teeth

Welcome back, Strange Crew!

This week we reunite with Jamie Comeau and Nick LeBlanc from Jamie Comeau and the Crooked Teeth! The last time we saw these guys was back in Volume 31, where they played a little set in Cait’s apartment (give it a listen here and check out that performance below), so we were excited to sit down, eat some candy and learn more about what the guys have been up to!

We chat about how Covid-19 has impacted them personally and as a band. They talk about how it has actually given them the time to write new music. We also dive more into their creative process.

Though the pandemic has led to most of their planned shows this summer being cancelled, they tell us about one they do have coming up – at the Sussex Drive-in! They’ll be playing a unique set this Friday along with The Divorcees and comedian James Mullinger. Get your tickets here!
