Volume 67: In the Panic Room with Jason Golding!

Woo wee Strange Crew! Do we ever have a treat for your ears today!

In this episode, we’re excited to sit down and chat with Jason Golding, who is the owner of The Panic Room, a DIY music venue here in Saint John. Jason is an integral part of the music community and has been for years here in Saint John and the surrounding area, if you know Jay, give us a HELL YEAH!

The space Jason has created for the music community are very unique and has been needed for a long time.

For most, it is super cool going out to a show there because you feel part of something underground, almost like having access to a secret society. The Panic Room is not just a safe space for music lovers, but a place to buy and sell your old and new music loves or merch. It is a jam space; it is a gathering place for friends and ultimately plays a significant role here in Saint John.

Jay goes above and beyond to make this happen and puts his passion and hard work into operating it in a way that genuinely makes you feel at home when you get there. From the homemade soups to the toiletries in the bathroom, you really do feel at home and at the coolest shows in the world with your pals.

As always, if you have enjoyed listening to the show, and want to get involved we heavily urge you to get involved with the Strange Crew! Become a regular contributor, share your love of tunes, photos, become a patron and get cool shit in the mail. Hit us up!

-Keep It Strange, folks!
