Strange Grooves At Area 506: Brett of the Glorious Sons
This month, Strange Grooves was at the Area 506 festival in Saint John, hosting a special “strange” lounge backstage for all the artists.
It was a wicked weekend full of food, drinks, and great music. It was also a weekend full of awesome interviews we will be rolling out over the next few weeks.
One of those interviews was with Brett Emmons, the frontman of The Glorious Sons.
The Glorious Sons have been making rock ‘n’ roll waves in North America and beyond, with every single release becoming a rock radio and playlist staple.
In this special episode of Strange Grooves, Cherise and Cait chat with Brett about the band’s summer touring, Digby, opening for the Rolling Stones, keeping it real on social media, and so much more. Check out the video interview and or on your favourite podcast app!
Want to say a big THANK YOU to Mike Capson for filming everything, to Brock Jorgy for his photos, and for being part of this whole event. Thank you to the Tour manager and now our friend, Michelle, for allowing us the opportunity to chat and hang out, to Scott from Pension for hooking the guys up with some great apparel and wharf rat hats and to all of you who support and listen to our shows.
Brett is super down to earth and very easy to hang and chat with, and we were thrilled to organize a little after-party with them at The Saint John Ale House with Chef Jesse Vergen! The entire band was just amazing, so we hope you check out the interview.
We got some really great stuff and announcements and events coming up soon!
Keep It Strange
xoxo.
