Celebrating Musical Diversity with Music NB:

This Series is more than just interviews; it's a celebration of the diverse musical landscape that New Brunswick has to offer and how Music NB strives to give resources, a platform and tools to artists and musicians to reach new audiences and explore their craft. We hope you've enjoyed these intimate conversations and getting to know the artists who make the local music scene unique.

First up is Summonor Breeze: Let’s talk about Unleashing Rap Brilliance:

Prepare to be mesmerized by Summonor Breeze, the rising star whose energy, enthusiasm, and rap skills have absolutely shooketh us and others! Jan Martin, hailing from the Listuguj Mi'kmaq Nation, brings a unique Indigenous perspective to the stage, blowing audiences away with a magnetic performance that showcases the power of cultural diversity in music. From incorporating nostalgic sounds and movement, we’re honoured to sit and chat during this interview to learn more about the process, what albums are a constant, etc.

The Chillteens: Fredericton's Music Mavericks:

We were so excited to meet up with our buds from Freddy again.  The Chillteens, are a group of extremely talented musicians driven by a shared love for many types of music. Dive into their world as they share insights into their creative process, current projects, and what keeps them grooving. Join Cait as she nerds out with the band, exploring the nuances of Steely Dan's album "Aja" and what the band keeps close to their heart as strange sounds on this exclusive episode.

Brock Jorgy: A Strange Crew Veteran Speaks:

No Strange Grooves episode is complete without catching up with a long-time Strange Crew member and musician. Brock Jorgy is a familiar face and voice in the community. You know THE Brock that filmed our interview with Brett and the guys from the Glorious Sons? :) Yeah, that Brock!! He joins us to spill the beans about his band TheLeftovers, their latest tour escapades, and their exciting plans for the future. We adore these full-circle moments with our friends and guests and truly love seeing them thrive in their elements.
