Volume 123: In the Shadows with The Stampeders

We have a fun, backstage exclusive interview for you this week with Canadian Legends Ronnie King and Kim Burley of The Stampeders. They were in town to kick off their 50th-anniversary show and tour, and we got to hang with them and chat tunes and much more after the show.

If you told the little kid version of Cait and Cherise that we would grow up to be attending these shows and interviewing our favourite bands and artists, we’re not so sure we would have believed you. Here it is if you haven’t caught our first interview with the band over a year ago.

After the show, we got the chance to chat with some of the band’s family and their show promoter, and honestly, it was a memory that will last forever.

We became pals because of this band almost seven years ago. We have seen them a few times together and interviewed them a couple of times, and let us tell you; we love them even more now than ever.

Their friendship, talent and showmanship come across at every show and during every interview, and we couldn’t be happier to release this week’s episode. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed recording it.

**Our old-school Zoom recorder recorded this episode on the fly in a noisy green room. We apologize for the sound quality; it does get better about the 8:30 mark!**

Music brings people together, and it doesn’t matter how much time passes; it works wonders on the heart and soul.

Until next week, Keep it strange!
